From Lignano Sabbiadoro you can take a motorboat to discover these splendid village and the nearly Isola della Conchiglia, a natural barrier that marks the border between the sea and the lagoon. You can admire and photograph species of birds and other animals that live in the Reserve’s protected ecosystem. The typical “casoni” built of reeds and wood make the Marano Lagoon one of the most interesting places on the Upper Adriatic coast where people come to savour typical fish specialities.
